The July 4 deadline for regular Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival submissions has come and gone, but there are still a few days left to enter MIFF’s “Tie Up Loose Ends” competition, whose deadline is July 31.
If you’re submitting a competition entry after the July 4 general deadline, keep in mind that the updated submission requirements are slightly different. You can’t submit through Film Freeway, but you can post your video on a site like YouTube or Vimeo and share the private link with us via email.
Please include in your credits of the version submitted for display (not necessarily for the review version): Created as part of the “Tie Up Loose Ends” competition for the 2016 (and the attached MIFF logo). The MIFF logo is monochrome and can be altered to any color. If color is used, a gold treatment is most often used; however, no specific color is required. Get the Photoshop version or the PNG.
Read the full requirements for the contest. The Tie Up Loose Ends script is here.
Don’t forget to send us the signed release form, too, via mail or email.
