Now it’s time for producers and directors to take on the challenge!
Screenwriters of Brevard have chosen the winner of the screenplay phase of the Tie Up Loose Ends competition. They had several great scripts to consider, including:
- Bad Bet by Russell W. Sanders
- The Model by Eric Emerick
- Q Ball by Archangel Delapaz
- Moment of Truth by David Karner
- Tit for Tat by Bill Williams
- Doubloon Dreams by Jennifer Frandsen
Our thanks to all who submitted their screenplays! The winner is Eric Emerick’s The Model. Now directors are asked to turn this script into a short film with an ending from their own imaginations. The film should be less than five minutes long, and it should be submitted by the MIFF’s final deadline of July 4 (the same for all submissions). You can read the rules here. Learn more about MIFF submissions (and how to save on fees by submitting early) on our Submissions page or at FilmFreeway.
