Thanksgiving is still more than a month away, but Christmas will come early this year when the eagerly awaited holiday film “O Holy Knight” premiers at this year’s MIFF.
With an uplifting message of unity, this action-adventure, romantic-comedy film tells the heart-warming story of a loveable store clerk who tries to help Santa Claus when he is attacked by muggers. His good deed sends him hurtling back in time to become an unwilling participant in a “Christmas game of champions” fought with real swords.
The epic story is directed by Robby Sparks and features many Brevard County locals in a truly unforgettable tale. The true meaning of Christmas has never been more apparent, and it certainly reflects why the season is important in a fun and exciting way. Director Sparks explains, “This film is the culmination of all the goodwill given by so many people in our community. It is only fitting that this wonderful story celebrates the birth of Jesus and goodwill to mankind.”
Producer Terry Cronin states, “Everyone should come out to see this fabulous Christmas movie and get into the spirit early!”
The producers are planning to showcase the film on the festival circuit but it can only be seen for its first public viewing at the upcoming MIFF premiere. Tickets are available at the Premiere Theaters Oaks Stadium 10 or at www.oaks10.com
