Announcing the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival’s 4th annual “Tie Up Loose Ends” short film competition. This two part competition allows viewers an opportunity to see a variety of films spawned by the same unfinished script. The resulting film interpretations are as varied as they are creative and entertaining. The first part of the competition is the selection of a screenplay with a “loose end” that must be “tied up” in the second part of the competition by competing filmmakers. Prizes are given for the best production and best ending.
“Tie Up Loose Ends” screenplays may be submitted now. The final deadline is January 18, 2019. Email your screenplay to MIFF:
