Making a special appearance at this year’s MIFF: Renowned stuntman and actor Kim Kahana. Mr. Kahana will appear at the MEET KIM KAHANA- PROFESSIONAL STUNTMAN event on Saturday, October 19, between 1:30- 2:30 pm. We will also be screening The Kahana Stunt School, a film by Eddie Craig, an active member of local film groups and a MIFF volunteer.
Mr. Kahana is known for his work in more than 300 films and television programs during his fifty-something year career in the industry. His work can be seen in Jeepers Creepers, Passenger 57, The Dirty Dozen, Magnificent 7, The Mechanic, Death Wish, Smokey and the Bandit, Good Guys Wear Black, Killer Elite, Danger Island, Banana Splits Adventure, 28 episodes of Kung Fu, and 80 episodes of Guts Nickelodean. He holds six black belts in various martial arts and is an expert in In hand-to-hand combat and weapons. He currently runs Kahana’s Stunt & Film School, in Groveland, Florida that has trained over 15,000 students.
