Congratulations Hank Rhodes, winner of the screenwriting portion of this year’s Tie Up Loose Ends Competition (TULE). Hank’s screen play, Waters Edge, is an intriguing work with lots of possible creative endings. Hank will receive a copy of Final Draft for his effort.
Thank you to all who submitted entries into this portion of the contest.
THE CONTEST: This is a two part contest. The first is a screenwriting competition. Each submission is a “loose end” – a script without a conclusion (no longer than 3 pages). The second part is when the story is “tied up” by the films’ producers when each creates an ending and produces a finished film for submission. The finished film must be five minutes or less – including titles and credits. Awards are given in recognition of the best ending and best overall production.
LET THE FILM-MAKING BEGIN: Now it’s time for the film making to begin. Be sure to follow the rules listed below under the SHORT FILM RULES and REQUIREMENTS portion of the TULE page on the MIFF website.
The deadline for all submissions is July 4, 2020.
